Good question. I was looking at one or two cars there myself.

I know they used to be NRG cars. (Google it, look at the location and the carzone listing text), maybe there was a reason they changed name.

When they were NRG I went to look at a rover 75 diesel they had. I was there for 5-10 mins looking around (during the day), but no salesman came over to me, so I left and spent the cash elsewhere. Other than that I've no dealings.

Just FYI, I ended up buying my car here about a month ago, Great Value for money, and gave a good price on my trade in. Car is running fine and no issue's. I'm actually looking at getting another car from the same place.

Can you share what you bought and what you traded?
Im just curious. Im now (despite my earlier comments) thinking of buying a car from there that is on sale for a while now.

I now the guys for long time. They are good mechanics and if you come for an inspection it is always free of charge. They run motor factors NorthWest Auto Parts in the same estate and the prices are best in the area. Normally if someone interested in a car why not to come to the office and ask for a test drive? :)

Not sure about there "cash for cars".. but suspose if ya just drop into them with the car, they'd give you a price, if you didnt like it, sure its your car, drive away.

I'd say the best idea is to sell your car privately. You know yourself 3 euro and 5 minutes in donedeal and your ad is up and running. "Cash for cars" services in general are good for people who leave the country or want to get rid of "no nct-no tax" car, so they would not worry if the price is low. But if your car is perfect and you paid good money for it then "cash for cars" is not the right direction to get your money back.

No harm to get a quote though.

    Just back to this post.

I had my NCT yesterday,, it failed.. brought it to the garage who wanted almost 1k to fix the problems.
then brought it to Northwest Auto's where I had purchased a different car from before as I had good expierence with them
I was told they would fix all the problems for less than 200euro !!
Great Place and super value on repairs.
