these are all in the space of maybe 100 meters and on a series of bad corners. the road is not very wide either so you are forced to drive into them if you meet an on coming car..

they have been like this for the last 3 months at least. there were some there before and the council filled them with gravel only for them to wash out in the first shower of rain!!

That looks exactly like the road past my house, and half way up to the main road (about 2 miles) a farmer uses the road as part of his yard:( everyone in the area has complained.....fcuck all done!

My neighbours and i had to chip in to resurface the road up to my house ( and on to theirs) as the council refused to do it.

And they want me to pay property and motor tax.....cnuts :mad::mad:

I drive daily on the East wall road in Dublin, a road that was hammered by HGV's since it existed.

They now all go through the port tunnel, but would you think the council would relay the road. No.

Its still in an atrocious condition and is used by thousands of cars daily. My car is constantly hammered by potholes. And my front left is in bad shape.

So you dont even have to be in the middle of the country to see the shocking state of our roads.

Has anyone seen the potholes in crumlin shopping centre? The first pothole at the entrance was about a foot deep and in width about 3 foot. One of about 50 in the car park. If I drove into it I would loose the front bumper and I'd have to get the car towed out! The car would rest on the body and not the wheel.

It was like that for several months and the fix was pathetic, they just threw some tar in and it's no where near level!

I wonder if the owners got any claims? Entire place is a dump so I wouldn't say they'd get much.

    And speeding kills ?

Seriously what are we paying taxes for.. It's got so bad, the road markings on some roads are starting to vanish !
