Why would this aircraft be circling like this?

Any idea what this guy is up to? Took this picture of the vapour trail at around 4pm this afternoon. The aircraft is heading off in a westerly direction...into the Atlantic. Picture was taken in West limerick.

The aircraft came in from the East and did two circles and appears to be heading out to sea!! You probably get asked this a thousand times but I have never seen it before.

I just checked the site radarvirtuel.com, its my first time using it but does not appear to show any aircraft over the south west at the moment....first time using the site so maybe I'm missing/misreading something

As I said on the other thread:

No great mystery, obviously out on an airtest from Shannon Aerospace. They are customers.

Hi all, was watching that aircraft on radar yesterday. Its course was up along west coast and returned back down again. The last i saw of it was off the Kerry coast.
