Job Seeker wife working

    Hi,
    My claim was awarded for job seeker allowance.I get 117 euro only each week as my wife is working.I own the house I live in no mortgage .
    I can get job seeker allowance for a single person if I move out but not rent allowance as I own my house.The rent for a bedsit would me perhaps 100euro so I am left with 17 euro.
    I can stay with a relative and get single person allowance also.I do not have a relative that wants me living there.
    I can stay in a hostel with alcoholics and drug addicts for 14 euro each night .The total cost 98 euro and I am left with 90 euro and no place to go during the day.
    I wonder can I seek asylum looks like a better deal.
    My ex wife was a failed asylum seeker now she is able to force me from my house.

    Are you living with your wife or your ex-wife. If you are living with your wife you cannot claim all the other options you put forward as you would have to prove she is not supporting you.

    Why were you not entitled to JSB? Have you been getting €188 JSB for the last 12 months?

    My credits ran out so I applied for allowance. I want to live apart from my wife.To get a solicitor involved at this time is expensive about support .I had this argument and got nowhere with her on support.This one is Russian a cold hearted bitch and will swear on the bible with all her heart an agreement and break it next day and laugh.
    This woman was a failed asylum seeker .I might get some publicity to expose her.
