Pain of fillings in comparison to wisdom teeth extraction

    I am soon to get some tooth fillings and the last time I was in a dentists was in order to have two wisdom teeth extracted. I have not had tooth fillings done in years however and I am wondering if the pain involved in getting teeth filled is anything similar to that of getting a wisdom tooth extraction? Please be honest with your answer/s as well.

    All depends on how deep the filling is.. The closer to the nerve the more painful it is.
