    Hi,

Got two quotes to change the front brake discs and pads on a 2006 Mazda 6.

One if for €245 for Mintex brake discs / pads fitted.

The other quote is for Mazda brake discs / pads and will cost €305 fitted.

Which would be the best option?

I brought all four discs and brake pads for €150 plus €60 to fit them the other day for a 00 almera. Your prices seem dear for just the front brakes.

when i got new rear pads from SEAT for the leon they were mintex with the SEAT/VW stamp on them..

300 seems ok for disks and pads plus fitting from im guessing a main dealer??

@galwaydude18 i would say the disks and pads on a mazda 6 would be a fair bit bigger that what would be on a 00 almera

If the car is 2 litre the prices arnt too bad up to yourself if you want original mazda parts for the extra few euros, if its 1.8 it should be a bit cheaper mainly for the discs,
Its well worth pricing around 1 or 2 more garages, prices vary massivly

Yeah, 300 price was from main dealer alright.

We use Mintex stuff in the race school and we have never had any problems with the stuff.

Yeah, the reviews of the Mintex stuff seems ok but could not find many reviews from Ireland of their products. Is there much of a difference between the different products in this brand or are they all pretty good.

Wouldn't mind if it was just costing that myself :D
