App to control android tablet

    I have a HP touchpad with CM7 installed which I use instead of an in-car DVD to keep the youngun in the back seat from going crazy on long journeys.

    Have trawled everywhere looking for an app that would let me remotely control it from my android phone (so I can turn the volume down, change video file etc and from the passenger seat). I know there are apps to control PC/desktops.

    Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Something like this? I haven't used it myself, I've just found it there searching Google. Failing that, I'm sure you could use VNC (VNC server on the tablet and a VNC viewer on your phone).
