image stacking

anyone have any tips/suggestions or software they would recommend for playing with image stacking? not for astrophotography, just for mucking about with in general.

Try CombineZM. I think it's still free and does a good job. The technique is called focus stacking when doing it with macro shots. Donno if it will work with general image stacking....

Photoshop Extended does image stacking.
