Auto Glass Chip repair question

My NCT is the end of the month and there is a small chip in my windscreen,

It's about the size of a 1cent coin so it's small enough to be repaired..

But i'm not sure if the location of the chip will mean they wont repair it,

I wouldn't class it as "driver's line of vision" but they might !

I've uploaded this image and roughly pointed it out.

    What do you think .?

I NCT'd a car with a chip there.. no issue. It was small with no cracks.

If it fails it will be only a visual re-inspection I think, so try it.

    Get it sorted.

1/. It'll ruin your wiper blades.
2/. It'll get bigger most likely.

Not a bad idea. Might try it.

If you've windscreen cover you can claim under your insurance without affecting your NCB..
They repaired one on my last car and it was flawless afterwards..no hassle with nononsense paying out either..

i had a repair done, insurance job.
it was not great after and they billed the insurance near 400 euro.
if you have windscreen cover i would get the screen replaced.

I don't have windscreen cover !! bloody Quinn Insurance !

I got a quote from 123 or one of them with everything.. and No claims protection for €560 it's cheaper then i'm paying now.. But I can't just change over and then put in a claim !

I'd say that would be considered line of sight allright - maybe not your line of sight but what about a short person ?
