    People get infected by accidentally eating eggs that have passed out in the faeces of infected foxes and dogs.
    Eating eggs that pass through? How would they not brake? I also wouldn't eat an egg i just found..

    Lol, they mean tapeworm eggs. They have them on their hands/body from contact with the foxes then later end up ingesting them.

    They aren't going around eating chicken eggs they find lying around
