renault window regulators

    hi all 1st time posting so hope it finds the right readers! just wondering does anybody know if a 08 renault clio is entitled to replacemant window regs as the windows seem to have a mind of there own at the mo?:rolleyes:

    Doubt it as they had a 3 year warranty, Speak to your local renault dealer see what they say though, if its a recall issue maybe. Dont think it is though.

    Whats happening with them, Are they going up and down on their own, or just going down/up in spurts?

    Try Hold both the front window Buttons up For around 5 seconds (the windows must be fully closed) This should reset the system.

    I know they are covering them on the Meganes up to 5 years old. Not sure on the Clios but it is definitely worth a phone call to ask.

    I got them done free of charge in Ennis Renault last year on my 06 Megane. I did have to bring it in for them to inspect the regulators and wait for the OK from Renault head office first which took a couple of weeks though.

    Renault are currently covering 75% of window reg and looms in megan and scenic, once you have genuine parts in the window/door
    worth a call to reno to find out for sure
