Looking to get a pair of leather shoes for a dark suit for a couple of weddings later this year. I normally wear fairly smart shoes with the suit but since I'll be best man at one of them I figured I might as well go the hole hog and get a proper pair of shoes. Where would you look in Dublin that does a classic leather pair of shoes for men. Any point in looking online?

Fitzpatricks shoes on Grafton St. do good quality shoes. Personally I get my shoes from www.herringshoes.co.uk They stock Churches, Barker, Loake etc and have very reasonable delivery charges. Their clearance section can have some great bargains too.

Fitzpatrick's have a decent range but my personal choice is Boylan's on the Royal Hibernian Way.

For my money I would not buy shoes online unless you had tried on the exact shoe in a shop previously.
