    We made one. Fire alarm bell from electric shop, spring switch like a door bell. wire and a plug. Screwed to a bit of ply/MDF sheet. fairly straight forward.

    The bell is the most expensive part but you should have change of 50 quid if you can wire it yourself. Or get it done as a favour.
