    Hi all

Getting married May 2013 and I am trying to decide which flowers I would like for my wedding
I really do like roses, lillies and tulips but I am wondering which flowers would be in season for May time. I am getting married 17th May 2013.
I love flowers so its gonna be fun deciding on church flowers and bridesmaid bouquets and my one :)
My mam is great at flower arranging so she will do them for me :)

I had a May wedding and had peonies for my bouquet. I'm not sure if they are seasonal but they are lovely fresh looking and not too stiff. I'm not into flowers but they were beautiful on the day.

I dont mean to be smart but why dont you go into a florist and ask ?

Its very easy to get the info and then afterwards organise to get the flowers yourself for your mother to arrange.

Here you go. I used this for my wedding and found it very useful. Just click on the appropriate month, and it should tell you.

As an owner of a florist a few years ago 99% of flowers can be ordered most times of the year if you want to pay the high price .But in May your one of the lucky ones its a good time of year for choice from the auctions.I havent looked to see when mothers day is this year but if it falls the week of your wedding it will push prices up.
Pick a good florist with good history in wedding flowers you pay for the level of skill
