    But he's not alone. I've seen a few base spec diesel Golfs with a GTI bodykit and the "I" replaced with a "D" !

    That's the trouble. He's actually done an OK job of creating a GTI-replica on the outside. But the interior lets the show down! The ugly 4-spoke plastic steering wheel is a particular highlight.

    EDIT: I just noticed that the door handles and rub strips aren't colour coded. FAIL on the exterior too so.
