    All the software will tell you is how much of the text in your essay is the same as what's in its database. It won't tell you if things are referenced correctly, if you mark direct quotations properly etc. Basically if you need software to tell you if you plagiarised, then you're doing it wrong. Read over your essay, make sure you have a source for everything you said and that you haven't copied and pasted anything (unless it's a direct quotation in quotation marks and referenced)

    WriteCheck uses the same engine as Turnitin so will give you the same result as what the lecturer sees. It costs something like $5 for one submission with 3 resubmits. You'll find it at https://www.writecheck.com/static/home.html
