carers benefit soon to stop what now

    hi, my mother inlaw gave up work to look after her elederly mother who is dying of cancer, she is currently on carers benefit/allowance not sure which one, anyway her mother is about to go into a hospice so the end is near, what are her options now in regard to benefits while she finds work.
    any help would be great thanks

    As far as I know, she will still receive carer's allowance for 10 weeks following her mother entering a caring facility.

    after that can she sign on the dole ?
