    Floyd v Whittaker at 135lbs

    Two of the best defensive fighters of all time

    Both tough as nails and both p4p greats...

    Who wins this one??

    Who will be the aggressor??

    Might not be a great fight to watch as both defensive minded but for the purists it could be one of the best ever!

    All I know is the compubox guys could get very bored in this one.

    Can't see many punches landing either way, but I think Pea might be ever so slightly the more hard-to-hit plus he's a southpaw and Floyd senior is on record as saying Floyd jnr don't like southpaws.

    Pernell by narrow decision in a purists delight.

    possibly mayweather edge in speed might help him but i'm not sure

    I would be hoping Sweet Pea could do it but I think Floyd would edge a decision.
    Floyd had great speed at 135 and I think that could be the difference in catching sweet pea or not, I think he would hold an upright stance when trying to catch him with a shot and wouldn't waste shots like some of the others who tried to throw the kitchen sink at Pernell.
    I think he'd also have the edge phyically.

    Sweet Pea was beautiful to watch and it's a pity there isn't more with his style but I just don't think he wins. I could be totally wrong though, maybe just more familiar with Floyd

    yeah i think i'd give floyd the edge too because of his size and better speed although pernell has excellent speed

    tough one to call
