No colour on Wii in Bulgaria

    Hi,
I got the kids a Wii for Christmas. It worked fine on the TV here in Ireland, but then we went to Bulgaria and it only showed Black and White on the TV there.

The SCART connection didn't work at all - so I had to use the component video input.

As far as I can tell, Bulgaria uses the same TV system as we do.
    Any ideas?

Pretty sure it is some silly setting. On phone now so cannot google. Have a play with the output settings.

Strange that Component doesn't work either. Seems to be a 50/60 Hz problem. Try changing the video output to 480p or 480i with 50 or 60 Hz in the menu. One of those 3 should work.

You could try using a real RGB scart cable, the yellow, white and red cable is not scart but composite. RGB scart is a universal standard so should work on any TV that has a scart socket.
