Did I have a miscarriage?

    Okay, so this is extremely difficult and I need advice ...
    Right so from the start, I skipped my break from the pill last month and then this month I didn't get it at all. Took the plunge and took a pregnancy test but it was negative! Then today while working I got really bad pains in my stomach and lower back, went to the bathroom and there was blood (mostly clotted) ... My colleague said its the same symptoms as she had when she had a miscarriage last year!
    Please someone give me advice, I havnt really got anyone i can talk to bar my boyfriend and he hasnt a clue!

    No one here can tell you as medical diagnoses and advice is not allowed to be given on Boards.

    You need to go to your GP as soon as possible. Or you could go to midoc, which is an out of hours GP service.

    For midoc - you need to ring them in advance, speak to a nurse, and then the nurse will get the doctor to ring you back and then they will decide whether or not you can/need to see them.
