Montenegro - Anyone been there in the last 6 months?

    I'm going to Croatia in August of this year and looking to go to either Mostar and Sarajevo or else head south to Montenegro.

    Most of the threads here seem to be a few years old, so as things change so quickly I'm looking to hear from anyone who's been there since say last summer.

    I'm planning on hiring a car in Dubrovnik where I will be flying in and out of so will have a bit of freedom when it comes to where we can go. The type of info I'm looking for is:
    • What's good to visit/see/do?
    • Where is worth staying for a few days (towns/areas)?
    • Any recommendations for accommodation? An apartment or comfy hotel, doesnt have to be luxury, we will literally be sleeping there and thats it.
    • What to avoid?
    • What will prices be like to cheap n cheerful dining etc?

    Just trying to work out a budget at the moment.
