ideas for a radio show name

hi my name is james downes i do a radio show on west limerick 102 fm on friday nights at 10,30 its called houseparty :rolleyes: i think thats a bit lame

the show is dance music (house, trance, electro, dance, charts, ect) its an hour mix i introduce the tunes talk about them bla bla

any ideas lads/gals for a name to bring the show into the 20th century

I had a similar conundrum starting my radio show many moons ago, I just couldn't think of a name, eventually I came up with Fieldogs Fresh Friday's, so I abbreviated it to The Triple F Show, still using it 3 years later.... :P

Why does it need a name? I think radio show names are a bit gimmicky to be honest and would just go with using your name, so James downes at the weekend or similar?

(I hope you realise I've just given you for free what RTE spends thousands (of taxpayers' money) to come up with...don't mention it! )

Was chatting about this with someone recently... One of the things they said was it should be something you can easily work into a sentence!

It's best to just sit down with a blank piece of paper, scribble down the word houseparty, then brainstorm and see where that gets you!


Few very random suggestions.... Naked, loud, fresh! etc...
