Hello folks, haven't posted on this forum in a good while, so I thought I'd come back with something for you to listen to!

This is an EP I did a while back:

    http://robertcrosbie.net/19000.html

Its part of a continuing project I'm working on called Geisha, I suppose it could be classed as "ambient trip hop". We / I have done three albums now, and this one was particularly interesting as a I had a friend and fellow electronic musician send me over a load of samples and loops which I then used in each of these four tracks. In most cases they formed the idea for the track, and gave me the creative spark which is often the hardest part - getting started.

There really were some incredible sounds, which he created using an EMU sampler and his own maniuplation software called ZoeOS - I was able to either layer them onto my existing track, or create a track using the samples. Great fun altogether and really good way to work.

So these tracks are long, deep, slow, but with good beats and enough interesting things to keep you going! The best track is probably the last one, track 4 - it almost takes you on a journey (if you're *ahem* in the right "mood"). ;-)

Let me know what you think and any feedback is always good!

I haven't checked out the latest one yet, but I love the other two. They earned their place on my iPod a long time ago. :D

I actually had no idea where I discovered them, though now I know it must've been on this forum.

Anyway, I'm gonna download now. Keep up the good work!
