    (Excuse the large size, but I don't have a macro lens at hand so a 50mm will have to do, and I've left it at original resolution to try not lose more detail.)

    The text reads "Certina; Automatic; Blue Ribbon." There were no markings I could see on the back.

    This watch was passed onto me quite a few years ago and it's been sitting away since. I've tried a few times to get some information on it but I haven't been able to find any identical watches (Not that I've been looking that hard, though.) Is it anything special? It has a lot of sentimental value to me, but could anyone give a rough estimation on it's actual value?

    Here's a link to an ebay sale for a nearly identical watch. It's probably ballpark about right IMO? Depends on condition and whether it's been serviced recently and keeping time accurately?
