Anyone know where I would get:

Engine & Turbo for 00 Suzuki Vitara- Mazda Diesel Engine required.

Or is there an alternative engine that can be put in these jeeps?

I tried loads of car dismantlers / breakers yard and impossible to find one :-(

i assume the cylinder head is cracked...a very common problem on these.

new heads are available..... Murphy engine overhauls in cork would definitely be worth a try if its the cylinder head.

    Thanks for the replies

The one in the UK would prove very expensive to get brought over, but I suppose in a push it would be something I might have to consider.

Im not 100% sure what the exact thing gone is but what happened was there was a banging noise and then very heavy black smoke and then no go lol.

What the recovery fella, and my own mechanic has said is that the turbo went and then sucked in the oil and hence engine seized. Would that have caused cylinder head to crack?
