Thought may be good to have a look back at some of people's favourite tries from 2011 around the world.

One of my favourite is Nacewa's try V Leicester in HCup last year. Was QF in the Aviva. Was at the game. Pure class try.

+1 on that... Defo my favorite stand-out try.

    Also these..

But this one has to mean the most. Turning point in the match, and Sexton's reaction to the crowd.. We were sitting in that corner, and thousands of quiet fans suddenly turned into raving maniacs, we didn't sit back down after that.. unreal.

    Late contender maybe?

But for me, it has to be Nacewa's against Leicester, outrageous footwork.

Also, all of Luke's tries at 12 this season. Can't find any vids tho. :P

Sexton's first try was electric. A real game changer. Was also at the game but not in that corner. Wish I was as that corner saw some action that day. 3 Leinster tries in that corner.

Sextons try v Saracens in Wembley was the best I saw last year. Beautifully worked moved. His little fade before he passes it out to the wing is genius, it checked the defence and gave Nacewa the extra half yard to make it past the Saracens winger. Outstanding. I could watch that fade all day!

I think the Sarries game in the RDS had some terrific stuff in it. Sexton was incredible that day. Lovely dummy in the lead up to McFaddens try. Some lovely off-loading from himself and Drico in the build up to Isas try (plus great lines from both BOD & Isa) and finally, my favourite moment of that game, his shuffle before feeding EOM for the last one. You can't see it properly on the TV but I remember watching it on the day and with ball in two hands he feinted a kick, then a pass and then a run all in the space of a second before popping it to EOM. You could almost see the thought process of the 2 Sarries defenders..."What the f*** is this guy going to do now!?". That for me was a stand out moment from last year.

To be completely pedantic, that was actually 2010.

Munster gain possession at around 1.13

Has to be Sexton's first try in Cardiff. Pure class.

Hrmm, yeah if we could stretch it to 2010/11 season I'd defo have to include to Rob Kearney's try against Racing at the RDS. Pure team try, absolute class from Sexton.

Biarritz get their hands on the ball at about 0:25 and what follows is one of the best tries I've seen in a while. Don't know why I forgot about it earlier...

Watch the no. 14 making the best non tackle ever.

Picking one from a smaller game, Horgan's try versus Glasgow at the RDS in the Magners league is noteworthy I think. Crossfield kick from Madigan, then Horgan (somehow) juggled it on his head before touching it down. My favourite is still Isa's against Leicester, but I picked this as a "Wow, how did he manage that" try. The fact he was laughing his head off afterwards added to it, I thought.

    EDIT: Here it is

    First try of the video.

Not one of the best tries but interesting to see some of the next generation in action.

Just after the turnover at the Munster line is where Fla picked up his injury that kept him out of the rest of the season.

Samo's on the first page, and Ngwenya's two tries are up there for me. Savage pace from the ould fella, I remember seeing that live and thinking 'he's not going to do it, is he??'

What a pass from McKinney. I hope we see him again this season. Between him, Olding and Jackson Ulster HAVE to produce something!
