Alfa 147 T-Spark , plugs replaced ?

    I read somewhere ( quite possibly on this forum ) that T Spark engines should have their spark plugs replaced at 60,000 miles.
    Anyone able to confirm ?

    Sounds about right 100k kms, significantly longer than the belts.

    I would say that would be the longest interval to replace. Iridium plugs are normally replaced at 60k miles, standard plugs would be done around every 30k miles.

    I think mine needed replacing @ 30k miles. Expensive it was too.

    Yup, T spark engine plugs are due at a 60k service at a cost of around 90 quid.

    Yep its definintly 60k miles for the twinspark engine.

    The plugs are pretty expensive as said above, but remember you need 8 plugs (2 per cylinder- hence twinspark). And the two plugs per each cylinder are a different spec. You might be able to get them slightly cheaper online on one of the alfa workshops.
