Was out for a spin on my bike this morn - nowhere near Skerries.
When I got back and was relaxing with a coffee I noticed that 'I had posted that I was in Skerries!' on Facebook. The timing of the post was when I was in the middle of the spin. But since I had no credit in my phone it rules out an accidental post.
And even if I did have credit or venture into a free hotspot it would mean my fone auto connecting to the hotspot and then going into facebook via the menu and posting ie very highly unlikley!

Any one have any clues as how did could happen? Really not a big FB user and rarely log in from a pc and if I do it is from my own. Really just use it on my Blackberry.
    Cheers

Thanks darokane but if even I was in Skerries at the time (at roughly the time it was posted I would have been in Malahide/Swords area) because I had no credit I wouldn't have been able to connect to FB or BBM etc.

You were close enough and Facebook's geography isn't the best. It sometimes uses the general area

Did you use the Facebook app at all while when out and about or do you have any apps that track your cycling?

    Thanks.
No. I didnt use facebook while out and no apps that track.
It just seems odd that even if I had wanted to use facebook to intentionally check in I couldn't have as I have no credit!
