My kids have a softmodded 4.3 wii and I want to try out netflix.
The shopping channel asked to do a system update which I declined.
I presume the update would remove the HBC.
Any of ye got a way to bypass the update?
    Thanks lads.

well your on the latest system menu, so thats ok, but you need to update the shop channel, you can do this easily, but dont use the nintendo to update !!

google "Update Wii Shop Channel to v20"
and google "netflix for dummies wii" for some good info if your stuck

I dont know, Im on 4.0 atm !! Is there a netflix icon on xmb, it appeared for me on 4.0 without doing anything, it replaced the RTE app, if not, its probably reserved for 4.0 firmwares ? maybe a netflix .pkg exists ?
