Hi...our little niece is going through her FHC shortly. She lives in England, but coming over here to say with us for a few weeks and hopefully we'll buy a dress for her.

Basically, where's the best place on the North East for FHC dresses?

Secondly, in Ireland is there a tradition of girls wearing veils for the FHC or a strictly prescribed dress code? Her parents haven't really gotten any direction from the catholic school she goes to in the UK.

They don't have to wear veils. My daughter didn't, you can get lovely slides in Claire's that will work nicely. Half of the girls didn't wear veils.
