Top psp games??

    Hey picking up a psp as cheap now!! What games do you recommend I pick up for it? Where's best place to buy used games movies etc?? Was in GameStop Naas and the selection was terrible

    Persona 3 Portable. See you in 70 hours :)

    The Ys games are also fantastic, especially Ys Seven and Oath in Felghana. Metal Gear Peace Walker is the best Metal Gear game in a long time, too!

    PSP games are super cheap in Game now, with the vita so close. good choices are

    Kingdom hearts birth by sleep
    Tactics ogre
    the 3rd birthday
    Crisis core final fantasy VII
    Final fantasy tactics war of the lions
    Metal gear solid peace walker
    Wipeout pure/pulse
    Daxter
    Both final fantasty dissidias

    Thats off the top of my head, few more than that.

    I second ff tactics and wipeout games

    also disgaea, LotR tactics, Warhammer 40k squad commander are very good squad based tactical combat games, if that is yoru cup of tea. It is a genre the psp is good for.

    God of War - Ghost of Olympus. Tekken dark resurrection. Patapon 1 and 2 are also good.

    I've read all sorts of things about tatics ogre, but I've never seen it in a shop

    I started FF4 a while ago but haven't gotten back to it.


    I personally am going to try FF:Tactics and Tactics Ogre at some stage.

    Honestly, if you aren't going to go through the hassle of hacking it then any of them bar the phat. I fyoui buy brand new you will probably only have the option of the New Version/3000 anyway.

    Think most of the best stuff has been mentioned. I'd like to add:

    Lumines: fantastic puzzle title and pretty much essential.
    Loco Roco 1 and 2
    Tales of Eternia
    Breath of Fire 3
    3rd Birthday

    Another recommendation for the Ys games!

    US Imports (might be on PSN for download):

    Kenka Bancho: this game is ridiculous fun
    Hammerin' Hero
    Brave Story

    Also Jeanne D'Arc was mentioned, it's a US import but well worth getting from ebay, brilliant game.

    Also don't bother with the first Dissidia game. I've heard that the entirity of the first game is in the second one.
