Fixed term rolling contract

    Hi,

I've been offered a position within a company whom I've dealt with over the past few years on and off on a casual basis. They have a good bit of work lined up for the next 6 - 12 months at least.
The position would be on a 3 month contract to begin with ( probationary term to begin with or so has been mentioned ) and I've been told that it will be a rolling contract after the 3 months.
What are my rights as a fixed term employee, for example :

-If let go after 3 months am I entitled to any holiday pay from the period worked ?

    - If kept on for another fixed term period after the initial , would I have any rights to holiday pay over the Easter period ?

    - If I work there over a certain period of time whether by fixed term or not , have I rights the same as ' full time ' employees ( as in the UK after 12 weeks ) ?

    - If inevitably a long term/full-time position was on the cards, whats the longest period of time they can put this off for before having to either let go or hire ?

I've already looked up the National Employment Agency website and can't get the specific answers I am looking for and would be grateful for any input on the fixed term contract scene.
Also I know that its tough out there for both employers and employees and fully understand that employers have to cover themselves with costs, careful choosing of employees etc. and don't mind bending a little to help out but not too much.

    Thanks for your time.

    YES - 8%

Holiday pay - as above. Paid public holidays, yes.

You have rights after 12 months. This is based on long you've worked there, not how many hours per week you work.

They already have hired you. But once you're there 4 years on rolling contracts, you become eligible for a "contract of indefinite duration" - what a lot of people call permanent, so they lost the opportunity to let you go at every contract renewal.
