You could just pin it, and try it out. Thats what it wants you to do.

I did pin it but I didn't really like it and now the constant nagging just annoys me. Is there a way of disabling it?

you need to allow the *.boards.ie cookie in your internet options:
    1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33_818.jpg. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.
    2. Click the Tools button 448ef968-d58a-43a2-b0cc-f396f4024f2c_14.jpg, and then click Internet options.
    3. Click the Privacy tab, and then move the slider to a position between the top and bottom so you're not blocking or allowing all cookies.
    4. Click Sites.
    5. In the Address of website box, type a website address, and then click Block or Allow.
As you type, a list of webpages that you've already visited will be displayed. You can click an item in the list and it will be displayed in the Address of website box.
    6. Repeat step 5 for each website you want to block or allow. When you're finished, click OK.
    7. Move the slider back to the position it was originally in, and then click OK.

this way it'll "remember" that you closed the notification already, but, BUT, it'll also remember your username and password and log you into the site automatically.
