I have plex installed on several computers around the house and I want to find out how to install a plugin.
From what I understand they should be in the channel directory but there's nothing in there when I check any of the computers in the house.

Is the internet connection working properly? Can Plex get the metadata okay for your media?

Also plex media server needs to be running on your machine or server.

To install plugins on plex you need to have plex and plex media server.

To install unsupported plugins like certain movie streaming sites you need a plugin called "unsupported app store"

You then find a site with the unsuppported plug ins.Download them and extract them to the relevant folder(usually appdata-plex-plugins) after you have installed the "unsupported app store" plugin.

Its a bit finicky but so far Ive managed to get the "certain movie" site working and have free access to all streaming movies and tv shows.

I have plex streaming to my roku lt and its working quite well but I need to have the pc running all the time.Im thinking of building a low cost, low power pc with just the basics to run 24/7 for plex but I havent even got started on that yet.
