Starts officially tomorrow on Tuesday, although there was a "pre-race" around Adelaide today

    Official Website here

Sky are due to be showing highlights (starting 1.30pm tomorrow) with the final stage live. ITV also have TV rights, but I'm not sure what coverage they will be putting on

Normal spoiler rules apply - same day race information must be put in spoiler tags if in this thread. If posters don't want to use spoilers, they can start stage specific threads (but no same day race info in the Opening Post, as this can be seen when you hover the mouse over the thread title on the main page)

Highlights of today's curtain raiser are on Sky Sports 4 at 6.30
Andre Greipel took it from Edvald Boasson Hagen with Heinrich Haussler third in front of a crowd of 112,000

Sky covered it last year (and the year before that). It always clashes with the Australian Open tennis, and Eurosport typically devote both their channels to that

I think the spoiler rules (e.g. midnight cutoffs) were devised with European racing in mind. :pac:

They were, but there will probably be highlights of today's stage on this evening, and there's always the option of starting stage-specific threads ...

Won't spoil it by showing it in a preview pane, but here's a short video of part of today's action:

Doesn't seem to be on ITV, but highlights each night on RAI Sport 2, if your dish is that way inclined. Lots of other cycling on this channel all year round.

That was some crash near the end, I dunno how a few spectators weren't seriously injured, one girl manages to stay upright as bikes just come crashing in around her at huge speeds, and dust/sand flying everywhere!!

Great solo breakaway win from young Aussie rider, 26yo William Clark, in a 2 man break from the off then rode the later half of the stage alone to hang on for an epic win. Chapeau

Great to see Valverde back. Whatever about his supposed misdemeanours in the past he is a very classy and talented cyclist.
I am really looking forward to seeing how he gets on versus Gilbert this year.
