telecommunications companies threatning litigation.

Where would one stand if a phone company sends a letter threatning litigation? and the amount claimed is under E100?

Is this just scare tactics or would one take the letter seriously before it gets out of hand ? I couldnt imaging any company going to court to reclaim E90.

Is there any way they can claim for legal expenses from you?

    Thanks

No legal advice. I will say this, if you feel there has been a breach of contract you should see a solicitor.

On the other hand, €78 now could potentially save you a lot of expense if you attempted to litigate this issue.

    thanks,

but my query is just wondering what the realistic expectation of a company bringing you to court for E90 is?. I would have thought its very slim and that a threat like that is just scare tactics.

In cases like this the company often sells the debt on to a collection agency.

That decision is with the Judge, wasting everyones time for a small debt might cost you a lot more than you owe.
