Scan XFX computer severe problems

I got a Scan XFX computer and it has been a good deal of trouble. First their bodged overclock meant repeated blue screens until it was reversed. Now it won't turn on. The fan at the back turns for a second or two and then nothing. I took out both stick of memory and tried one in different slots, nothing. Now I'm looking for instructions on a reset procedure, but the manual for the motherboard or any other documentation has no procedure.

I also touched the two CMOS pins to clear the CMOS values, nothing.

Have you tried to rebuild the machine, I.e: Unplug all components/power connectors and re plug them,

Doing that already, will see if it makes a difference.

Actually not I'm not taking it apart. Scan built it, and apart from putting the gfx card in and out, maybe, I'm not doing more. I want a repair or replacement. They could claim I damaged it.

A lot of bloody trouble. I'm certainly not rebuilding, doing their job. They probably screwed up with something on the case touching the motherboard, finally causing a short. Fcuk Scan computers.

It's the power supply that's goosed. Works with another power supply.

Who has a Corsair TX650 power supply in stock now?

Sorry to hear that, at least you've figured out the problem, try reconnecting the Corsair just in case the problem was caused by a loose connection, otherwise RMA the PSU to Scan, they'll ship out a replacement. They'll cover costs too
