Hi ,my parents house was receiving saorview from suir valley on a wideband aerial vert mounted, almost every night the picture would freeze or break up only once for a few seconds. The readings on a meter from suir valley show video level of -58dBm ,mer of 25to30 and a Ber of 2 stars poor.Mount leinster is directly behind the house about 60km away but shielded by a big hill right behind the house, yesterday i took some readings from mount leinster with a yellow tip aerial horz mounted and got back video level -68,mer 30 and Ber 4 star pass.I reckon leaving aerial pointing to mount leinster should get improved reception over suir valley as mer and Ber have better results even though signal strength is higher from suir, would this be correct?
