Graduate, no idea about state benefits

I'll be finishing a degree in May and actively seeking any possible work in any field just to keep me in the country as i'd rather not emigrate,

I've no clue about any benefits I may be entitled too, and i find the welfare site seriously confusing,

Will i be immediately entitled to JSA once i finish college?

Will i be entitled to any rent allowance?

Yes, you will be entitled to claim when your final exam is over. Get a letter from your college stating that you have finished your degree.

If you have a sufficient work history and enough relevant PRSI contributions, you may be able to claim Jobseekers Benefit, which is not means tested.

If you do not have sufficient PRSI contributions from your work history, you will be entitled to claim Jobseekers Allowance, which is means tested. This link gives you rates etc., and details re means testing.

To apply for Rent Supplement, you have to be already renting for at least 6 months, have been able to afford the rent when you started your tenancy and have suffered a change of circumstances (income) which makes you now unable to pay the rent. The other way to qualify for Rent Supplement would be to be approved as in need of social housing by your Local Authority.

I have worked previously so i may have enough contributions nice one,

looks like rent allowance is out of the question so.
