Where abouts is The Viewpoint in the Dublin Mountains?

I've heard of this spot in the Dublin Mountains which gives a nice view of the City but how do I get to it can anyone tell me?

I've found a nice look-out spot on the Botharnabreena road a few miles outside Tallaght but not sure if this is it. Can anyone help?

If you're going at night don't expect to be alone in the car park. It has a bit of a reputation for certain nocturnal activities

I presume you are talking about the one past the Hell Fire club along Stocking lane- if you follow that road around to the left they are great views on the far side of the Northside of the city no real parking spot though.

I found that Viewpoint spot, thanks for the help. Nice view. But if you follow the road around to the left there is an even nicer,less obstructed view. There's a little bit of tarmac on the right hand side of the road to stop on. Its amazing to see the sheer size of the Phoenix Park within the lit up city.

We followed the road the whole way around to Glencullen and had a stop-off at Johnny Fox's pub, The Highest Pub in Ireland Had a great time so thanks again for the assistance MagicMarker!
