Problem with a codec

Hello I always download films on my pc but lately I got an iPad an had to download software to convert these films to put onto iPad that was grand but now when I try play films on pc it just plays the music of the film and it says codec acquired, what do I do to get the pic back as well?

What application are you using to play them on your pc? I'd recommend using vlc.

If that doesn't work then you'll have to download the k-lite codec pack.

Nah. It's not that good with other formats. Use vlc or if that doesn't work try installing the codec pack (basic version will do you).
