    From here.

I reckon this could be one of the major factors in Milan pulling out of their talks to sign Tevez, of Cassano keeps recovering at this rate he could be back within two months!

Great news for the club and the Italian national team.

Can't wait to see him on the pitch again!
Antonio Cassano has been assessed and passed fit to recommence his playing career with Milan and begin training again from tomorrow.

The 29-year-old has been out of action since the end of October after suffering a mild stroke that doctors found was the result of a minor heart condition. Since undergoing surgery, the former Bari and Roma man has been on a specialised routine of mild exercise - generally walking - and tests to assess his recovery.

After the latest round of examinations held at Milanello this week, it has been confirmed through a Press release on Friday evening that doctors have now given Cassano the green light to begin ‘progressive individual athletic’ training from tomorrow.

Yeah, the last true Trequartista in Italian football if you ask me (besides Totti and ADP who won't be around much longer).

He's always had the natural ability that 99.999999999*% of players in the game will never have but the last few seasons with Samp and Milan, now that his head seems to be right he is, finally, showing why Roma paid €30million (60billion Lira at the tim) for him when he was 19.

Such a shame that he went to Madrid when he did. He's still a great player, but if he hadn't gone off the rails and indulged in the Madrileno night life when he did, he had the ability to be one of Italy's all-time greats.

I hope he continues to make a full recovery, and even though I support Napoli, I look forward to seeing him back on the pitch. He also made 'mad Italian bastard' cool long before Balotelli.
