What year? What size tyres are on it at the moment?

Check the VIN plate on the vehicle. It will give you the axle weights.

You then use the below chart to tell you the minimum index needed. The weights on the chart are for each tyre so doubled for each axle.

For example, I think the rear axle on the combo might be 1080kg so the minimum load index would be 87 for that axle

Why is the Vauxhall combo no good? Its identical.

Isn't it to do with the older vans having ABS or not? 5 stud hubs have ABS and 4 stud don't. something like that anyway, the old model Astra was like this AFAIK

My Astra has ABS and is 4 stud.

There were combo's with 15" steel wheels. I know Guinness had a fleet of them at one stage and they were the only ones I ever saw using that wheel/tyre size but I think they were still 4 stud.

The tyre size was 185/55/15 but I don't remember the load rating.

Both Opel and Vauxhall vehicles are identical in every way except trim/options. If you have a combo with 5 studs its very strange as the combo uses the corsa chassis and no corsa ever had 5 studs.

If the op takes the details off the VIN plate there can be no debating about the load rating.

The dimensions and stud patterns have nothing to do with the test

You might well be right. Astra G's with rear disks are 5 stud while all others are 4 stud.

I've never seen a combo with rear disks although it wouldn't be unheard of for large customers to special order a certain spec of vehicle. Happens alot with Transits.
