Hello ,I'm about to buy an entry road bike and am quite happy to buy any of the brands available ,all I'm concerned about are the wheels really.
My first choice is the Giant Defy 1 ,then felt F85 ,TREK 1.5 or if I really like it a Stevens stelvio triple. Of all the bikes I can't really tell if the wheels are any better on any paticular one .
If anyone has any advice ,I'd be delighted.

    Thanks.

not an expericed rider but will give you my experice. i bought a trek 1.5 last january and have been doing about 80 miles a week on average. They are still fine and round. I even did Gaelforce on them and there is a section on Gaelforce that is fairly rough and off road with plenty potholes and the rims held up perfectly. I have been reading lately though that the biggest upgrade you can do to a bikes preformance is its wheels. People on boards will have probably spent more on wheels than i did for my bike.

to conclude i found no problems with the trek wheels but cant give a comparison
