How long to Prestige?

I'm just wondering how long it took everyone to Prestige in MW3? I've only prestiged there and it took the lengthly time of 1 day 5 hours, is that bad?

I would say it was double xp for the whole presige, I should take between 18-24 hours to get from 1-80 all depending on what game type you play and if you play with a party or not

Took me just about 7 days to do all 10. That was essentially with 2 hours double xp on every prestige.

:P Im just messing btw, although that is how long it took me on PC. Because theres dedicated servers that give like 50k xp per kill and **** so i just went in there and went from 20-80 in 5 mins. Handy because i couldn't be arsed leveling !

I'd agree with the 20+ hrs... I'm more near the 24+hrs end of the scale and it's been relatively consistent throughout the prestiges.

Main thing is to use a gamemode that has a high Score Per Minute for you and also to complete as many weapon, streak and other challenges as possible

Kind of self explanatory... but something like domination would be quite a high score per minute gametype as you get plently of points for capping flags, as would HQ/Dem and probably Killconfirmed + Dropzone or whatever its called.

Typically modes like CTF or sabotage would be quite low score per minute game-modes because of spawn delays. Tho if you get the bombplants or capping all the flags they're probably pretty good. Same would apply to SnD i guess.

Usually takes me about a month to get through, dont play the game too much, on 3rd atm

I am 10th Prestige and it took me 7 1/2 days to complete.

I find the best way to prestige is playing Search and Destroy. Its 500 points per kill plus 1000 per plant/defuse. If you get 7-9 kills per game and 1/2 plants/defuses you should prestige very quickly

It would have been quicker if it wasnt for all the connection/hit detection issues I am coming accross, hard to believe that having a good connection will end up being a bad thing.

If I started again it would take me 7 days but I started off terrible with lots of party matches and lots of timewasting
