What are your superstitions?

Today, on the most superstitious of all superstitious days, it got me thinking what people are superstitious about..

I know my dad always had a thing about new shoes on a table.. opening umbrellas in the house... walking under ladders... and not in a jokey way either :/

I suppose my superstition is that I'm freaky about my horse riding hat - no one else can wear it or mess with it, I had a bad accident last year and since that I've changed my hat and my boots.. (change equipment, change karma kinda thing...)

    So what are your superstitions?

A telephone pole went on fire today in my town, lights started flickering and then went off completely for 2-3 minutes. A few houses and shops were left without electricity for the day.
    Coincidence? I think not.

I dont blow my nose on Mondays because the last Monday I did I got a massive nose bleed that lasted 8 days. Although I know the bleed was caused by the belt of the car boot I got a week before hand, I still wont do it. Once Monday is over Im fine.

The one year anniversary is coming up soon 7th of feb. Im hoping once it passes without a problem I can leave go of my paranoia. **** thing to happen really since I have a phobia of blood and noses

Hmm. The usual ones stick out when I am seeing/doing them. Walking under a ladder, breaking a mirror, opening up an umbrella inside.

To be honest I didn't even realize it was Friday the 13th today.. I think when people hear about that day they tend to exaggerate on the small bad things that happen.

In my head I sometimes play this game of analysing their actions and wondering if they are genuinely showing emotion or are faking it.

    I blame Dexter

Do you ever wonder this at your mirror?

I put my sock on my left foot first, then my insole into my left boot/trainer and lace the left one up first.

Ive broken mirrors and walked under ladders with out any adverse consequences however I did one accidentally break the head off a holy Mary statue which is supposed to be very good luck so maybe it's counteracting it.
