The car is silver but the paint around the boot is white. :\

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,575 ✭✭✭166man

Jeez I thought the V6 thing as Voodoo said was too obvious so was looking for something a little more ridiculous. Then I saw the price...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,661 ✭✭✭Voodoomelon

I was looking out for some lad in the background mooning or the likes.

Is the front from a later model?

It's certainly not from a 1999 as the bumper is wrong and so is the trim although maybe the owner changed it

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,898 ✭✭✭✭seanybiker

The heat gauge thingmebob is half way up so maybe he was reddening the shyte outta it just before the pic?

    We are fooking legends.
Rest of ye just dont have a clue hahaha.

No strut braces either? Do they normally have them as standard? complete guess.

    I've got it!

THE COOLANT RESERVOIR LOOKS BONE DRY!

Silver can look almost white sometimes in the right light with a crappy camera, I wouldn't say its a chop job.

That front, apart from the grille, was standard on E46 coupes. The E36 ended in 1999 and E46 began in 1999.

Bumper looks wrong to me, like one from a later model but I'm by no means a bmw expert

Nope, it's the right bumper. I'm by no means an expert either but I had a 1999 E46 saloon and after I bought it, I always wanted a coupe. Because of that I always looked out for them with M-tech body kits. That's how I know :o

i sold a Demo jeep before with 738 kms on it, i knew it hadn't done much mileage and the customer was happy. Little did i realise it was the trip and the jeep had actually done 4500 kms! i switched it back to the trip and said nothing and no complaints were ever lodged :pac:
