Bosch or Smeg dishwasher?

My Siemens broke down this week, estimated cost to fix it was €300 so buying a new one now. Appliances engineer said Smeg were great and their parts are all compatible with generic parts which makes fixing it cheaper. It's also got a 5 yr warranty which is great. I've been reading reviews on Which? and elsewhere though and…

Appliances engineer said Smeg were great and their parts are all compatible with generic parts which makes fixing it cheaper. It's also got a 5 yr warranty which is great.

I've been reading reviews on Which? and elsewhere though and Bosch (after Miele) seem to be the most highly rated brand for reliability and quality of the actual machine. Smeg don't rate that highly for some reason, apparently they're not that easy to use, I guess not as a good a design as Bosch.

I'm leaning towards a Bosch but my husband wants a Smeg for the warranty.
Anyone any experience with Smeg dishwashers?
