A komplett fiasco

    I bought an Epson Multi function printer from Komplett for €75 which was working fine until I had to change inks

    I put in genuine Epson inks costing me about €60 and it developed a fault and wouldn't print out the complete page.
    It printed images badly and it the page had text it didn't print the text.

    Anyway, I returned it to Komplett to receive an email that they had no more in stock and would refund my €75 in 14 days.


    I'm majorly upset that I now have ink that I cant use and when I contacted them I was basically told tough,that it was dealt with under the warrantys terms.
    The fact that i am down the use of inks worth €60 through them selling discontinued stock is of no consequence.
    I also can't understand why it takes 14 days to do a credit and why they find it acceptable to take the money from me instantly on purchase and won't return it as fast.

    I replied to their email and posted on the Komplett forum on boards but have received no answer from them.

    I appears to me that they are happy to go by the letter of the warranty terms and forget about good customer service.

    The upshot for Komplett is one very unhappy customer who will never buy from them again and who will never say a good word about them to anyone.

    I've since gone out and bought a Samsung laser printer from PCWorld for €80.

    Then why have you posted here as well? Cross posting is against the rules, so don't do that.

    Unless you bought the ink from Komplett too, and there was actually something wrong with it, then they've done nothing wrong. They've refunded you the cost of the printer, which is all they needed to do. Some people can never be pleased.
