Just noticed a 2012 Forester X diesel on carzone for €41450, on subaru website it's priced at €38k (inc. vat & vrt) but excluding dealer charge. I thought dealer charge ranged from about 500 to 1000 euro not almost 3.5k. There is no mention of any acessories included above what comes as standard. Is this the norm now ?

Sounds like a mistake to me, the dealer has no interest in asking over list.

Does the dealer's car have any extras fitted or include an extended warranty? Has the Subaru site been updated with the VAT increase?

As stated no mention of any acessories/extras on website or ext. warranty. Don't know if subaru's site has been updated or not.

There isn't a newer lower emissions spec or anything?

According to the ad it's an 'X' model which is the mid priced of the 3 models listed on Subaru's site

There is - you can see specs for both on the technical data page:

My query was about the amount the dealer has added to the price as listed on Subaru's website, it seems excessive for dealer charges

There's no way a dealer would charge €3500 or anything like it for delivery. If you want to know what's going on then ring the dealer and ask.:)

It may be haggle room for the dealer. Stick it up at €41k and someone thinks they've got a bargain buying it for list.

If it's the one in Kerry on Carzone, it's was over list. Delivery and metallic come to around €1,000 on a Forrester. Reversing Camera may be additional - can't remember if it's standard or not.

Was expecting to see leather and the Nav upgrade - that would make up the difference.

Are any of these bits optional extras?
    FULL 17 INCH SPARE WHEEL
    ELECTRIC REAR FODING SEATS
    Metallic paintwork
    Xenon lights
